What I Miss Most

I'd say the main thing I'm missing right now is being able to hang out with my friends. I miss them so much, and we could've been having so much fun if this whole COVID-19 ordeal hadn't occurred. We still do talk to each other in multiple ways, instagram, zoom, Netflix partying, but virtually hanging out just doesn't cut it for this amount of time. I just want to meet them in person, and have fun. I've been so bored lately in quarantine. Bored to the point where I don't even want to do anything if that's even possible. I feel like if we didn't have to socially distance ourselves we could be having a great time. However, I understand the circumstances we are currently living in, and will not be selfish, and I do not want to risk becoming a carrier of the virus, and passing it on to others around me. So until this whole thing blows over I guess I will have to deal with only being able to communicate virtually, which isn't totally horri...

Interests

One of the things I find real joy in is going on long walks with my dog, in places no one else is around in. I live in Lynn Valley near all the trails, so I prefer going into the woods to walk her rather than on a sidewalk. It's so refreshing, and a nice escape from reality, and technology. It's like a private little beach, I love it. It's not that hidden, but no one's ever there, and usually when people do come they don't wander too off trail, or just have no interest in it so don't show up. Even though I love going on walks, sometimes it's hard to find the motivation to go out of the house, but once I start it feels amazing.      I think my generation is so caught up in technology it's hard to appreciate the little things in life. Usually when...

COVID-19

COVID-19 has left the world in complete shambles. It's taken a toll on everyone's lives all around the world. Many people are losing their jobs, and are low on money. The economy isn't doing well either. Toilet paper is in low stock. People all around the world are dying, and millions have been affected by the disease. Clearly, this virus has left an immense negative impact on people, and our economy. However, the environment and animals are thriving. In Venice, Italy, the fish have come out and are visible for the first time because of little pollution. Skies in Delhi, India, have cleared, which are usually grey because of all the pollution in the city. Although this virus has had an extreme negative impact on us humans in a way I am grateful for it because it has shown us how beautiful our planet really is. We still have potential. I'm aware this virus isn't going to cure climate change, but I think it could promote governments to take more action for pro...
