What I Miss Most

I'd say the main thing I'm missing right now is being able to hang out with my friends. I miss them so much, and we could've been having so much fun if this whole COVID-19 ordeal hadn't occurred. We still do talk to each other in multiple ways, instagram, zoom, Netflix partying, but virtually hanging out just doesn't cut it for this amount of time. I just want to meet them in person, and have fun. I've been so bored lately in quarantine. Bored to the point where I don't even want to do anything if that's even possible. I feel like if we didn't have to socially distance ourselves we could be having a great time. However, I understand the circumstances we are currently living in, and will not be selfish, and I do not want to risk becoming a carrier of the virus, and passing it on to others around me. So until this whole thing blows over I guess I will have to deal with only being able to communicate virtually, which isn't totally horrible, but I would much rather prefer actually being there in person with all of them.

Additionally, even though I miss my friends, another thing I've been really missing lately is school. I never thought I'd say this, but I miss school SO much. I feel like school gave me a purpose to life, even though I procrastinated a lot, it was the thing that filled 75% of my week up. It kept me busy, and entertained at some points. I miss sitting in a classroom, and doing assignments while looking at the clock. I miss everything about it. I miss trying to shove my way past the crowded hallways even though sometimes it was frustrating. I miss sitting on the ground to eat lunch with my friends. I miss it so much. I cannot wait until school reopens. Quarantine has taught me to be so much more grateful for the fact that I have access to education because before I always looked past it, and only saw the negatives, but now I see there's so many positives that I had completely overlooked. I am going to now try my best to enjoy school, and have a great time for the last couple remaining years of my post secondary education.
